Rodger and Hammerstein's

Cinderella

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is reborn on stage at American Canyon High School’s student-led theatre program.  Cinderella chafes under the cruelty of her wicked stepmother and her evil stepsisters, Grace and Joy, until her Fairy Godmother steps in to change her life for one unforgettable night. At the ball, she falls for handsome Prince Christopher, whose parents, King Maximillian and Queen Constantina, are anxious for him to find a suitable princess. Come see the fairy Godmother turn mice into horses, a pumpkin into a carriage, and rags into a beautiful ball gown. Watch as Cinderella’s dream of a better life comes true!

Be a part of the magic on the weekends of March 20th-22th and March 27th- 29th.

For the first time ever, our student-led theatre program is putting on an Sensory-Friendly show on Sunday, March 22 at 2pm during which the lighting in the theatre won’t be as dark, the music won’t be as loud, anyone in the audience will be able to get up whenever they would like, and sign language interpreting will be provided.

Due to the NVUSD requirements put in place today that designate the cancellation of all gatherings of over 50 people, the ACHS Theatre Arts department is announcing the official postponement of our magical spring musical, Cinderella. It is with a heavy heart, and the best interest of our devoted supporters of this program, that we make this announcement. We have already reserved potential dates in both April and May in preparation for the possibility of school closures.  We will continue to update our families and supporters as the situation develops. We are devoted to bringing this enchanting performance to the stage, and most importantly, our valued patrons. Thank you for your continued support in our efforts to keep our community safe.
